Power Rangers fans from across the country will converge on the Pasadena Convention Center at the end of August for Power Morphicon, a three-day celebration of the franchise that organizers bill as the biggest Power Rangers event on the planet.

The convention runs Friday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Aug. 30 at 300 E. Green St., putting costumed fans and out-of-town visitors within walking distance of Old Pasadena restaurants, hotels and shops for an entire weekend.

More than 200 guests spanning nearly 30 years of the franchise are scheduled to appear, according to Visit Pasadena. The lineup includes actors, voice performers, writers and stunt professionals. Recent guest announcements on the official Power Morphicon site include Joe Hackett, Diane Salinger, Ryan Carter, Sarah Brown, Brad Hawkins and Jordi Webber.

Organizer Scott Zillner has run the convention since its second edition in 2010, according to the Pasadena Comic Con website. The biannual event has been held every other year since 2007 and has expanded beyond Power Rangers to include guests from Japanese Tokusatsu franchises like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai.

The vendor hall, which organizers describe as the largest collection of Power Rangers memorabilia in the world, will feature vintage toys, action figures, comics, artwork, apparel and exclusive merchandise created for the event.

Convention hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. VIP ticket holders get in one hour early on Saturday and Sunday.

Reuben Langdon, a Power Rangers cast member and convention guest, wrote on X on Aug. 2:

@ReubenLangdon: "It's almost Morphin' Time… and Jackpot time. Power Morphicon 2026 is taking over the Pasadena Convention Center… and it's being billed as the biggest Power Rangers celebration on the planet."

Austin St. John, who played the original Red Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, listed Power Morphicon among his 2026 convention tour stops in an Aug. 4 post on X.
